Gretchen's parents, Jim and Margie Labrenz, have an impressive history in the real estate industry. They established Cruz Bay Realty back in 1985, and their journey began in Columbus, Ohio. However, their love for St John led them to build their first home in Estate Fish Bay. The Labrenz family affectionately named this residence "Goodbye Columbus" in 1977. Jim Labrenz, Gretchen's father, played a pivotal role in the development of Estate Fish Bay and even became one of the founding members of the St John Board of REALTORS®.
Gretchen Labrenz herself has a remarkable professional background. Before joining the family real estate business, she spent a decade working at Caneel Bay, gaining valuable experience and industry insight. Having immersed herself in the culture of St. John for over 40 years, Gretchen now divides her time between this beautiful island and the vibrant city of Ft. Lauderdale. Her extensive knowledge of both locations undoubtedly enhances her ability to provide exceptional service to her clients.
