Originally from Ukraine, Yelena moved to the United States in 1998 and built an impressive academic and professional foundation. She holds a BA in History & Foreign Languages from Moscow State University and an MS in Investment Management from Boston University. Before transitioning to real estate, Yelena spent over a decade at Fidelity Investments in Boston as a financial analyst, sharpening her skills in market analysis, negotiation, and strategic planning.

After relocating to St. John, Yelena successfully shifted her focus to photography, building a thriving business that showcased the island's stunning natural beauty. Her work quickly earned her a reputation for artistic and professional excellence, and she continues to actively support local causes, including the Animal Care Center of St. John, Friends of the National Park, and the St. John School of the Arts.
